Death

When any citizen dies, the happiness of the other members of their family will drop for a few years. However, it can be countered by building a cemetery and allowing the deceased to be buried.

• Complications during childbirth
• Old age
• Weak Heart
• Work related accidents
  • Miners and Laborers getting crushed by a cave-in
  • Stonecutters getting crushed by rocks in quarries
  • Hunters getting trampled to death by boars
  • Fishermen drowning
  • Blacksmiths dying after being burned in the forge
  • Gatherers eating poisonous berries
  • Vendors getting stabbed to death in the market
  • Builders falling off a ladder
  • Physicians taking a bad medicine
  • Teachers going crazy and being banished
  • Brewers drinking a bad brew
  • Traders committing suicide

Some, such as being crushed by a rock or falling off a ladder can happen to multiple occupations. It is believed that this is caused by a person switching occupations just before they die.
