Shining Rock Software is the one-man developing studio making Banished.
Before starting Shining Rock Software the developer (name unknown) worked in the console video game industry, writing graphics engines, physics engines and general tools. While that was fun, he had the deisre to make fun and simple games.
He does all the software development, artwork and audio.
