Livestock in Banished provide a wide range of resources. Livestock reside in a pasture and include: chickens, cattle and sheep.[1]
Cattle
Cattle are one type of livestock that can be raised in pastures.
Cattle are used for food (Beef) and for leather that can be made into clothing.[1]
Trade Cost
Approx. trade cost ~ 800 currency units.
When ordering cattle from livestock merchants, they will charge 1000 currency units instead.
Sheep
Sheep are one type of livestock that can be raised in pastures.
Sheep are used for food (Mutton) and for wool that can be made into clothing.
Trade Cost
Sheep cost 750 currency units, when ordered from a livestock merchant.
Chicken
Chicken are one type of livestock that can be raised in pastures.
Chickens provide eggs and can be slaughtered for food.[1]
Trade Cost
Chickens cost 400 units each when bought at the Trading Post, when explicitly ordered, 500 currency units are required instead.
