Fruit is planted in crops in Banished by using their respective seeds.

Farmers will tend to these crops, and harvest the fruit for consumption.

In Banished fruit has multiple uses. It can be consumed or used to create ale.

The types of fruit are as follows:

• Apple
• Berries
• Cherry
• Peach
• Pear
• Plum

All fruit except berries are grown in orchards. Berries can be gathered by Gatherers from a Gatherers' Hut, or purchased in trade if offered by traders at the trade port. Fruit is a food group for your citizens, and contributes to increased happiness.
